This series of photographs documents my process of preserving objects of interest.
They are placed randomly in bowls and basins or on plates in my kitchen and after several days or weeks taken down to the studio, where all the objects I have ever photographed are kept.
These round dishes are shot from above, resembling the scientific practice of examining a petri dish using a microscope.
