The scientific term Chimera means a single organism composed of genetically distinct cells. It occurs in nature through various mechanisms and can be created artificially by organ transplant.

In this series I collect old glass lab ware, most of it no longer in use, some of it broken or marked. In combination with plant parts, a new organism evolves to which I have given the name "Chimera".
